How To Enable/Disable Your USB Port And Secure Your PC/Computer From Viral/Malware Attack

One of the ways in which your pc can be attacked by virus or malware is through the use of Flash Disc.AM going to be sharing with you on how you can secure your Universal Serial Port (USB) from other users of the computer mostly when you are running a cyber café or you just want to protect it from your friends.
  • Now click on “Start”
  • Click “All Programs”
  • Click on Accessories
  • Hit on the Run button and type” regedit” then OK it


MS Program will pop up click on “yes”
You will see HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click on System
Click on Services
Ctrl f and type USBSTOR
Double click on USBSTOR
Look down to find Start and double click on it to change the value
Enter 4 to disable the mass storage or 3 to Enable it.
