How To Configure your Desktop For your Personal Use

In this post, I will be sharing with you How you control what is on the Desktop of your computer. Here, you will learn how you can remove the shortcut icon in your desktop, Remove the recycle bin icon etc.
Most of the programs that you want to have quick access to are pinned to the desktop but by default, recycle bin come pinned on the windows and for some reasons you may not want it to appear on your Desktop Sure! The right is yours to configure your system which ever way you want to do it and micro soft has enabled window users to do so.

To control what is on the desktop, just follow this simple procedure:

Go to the start button and locate Run
Type "gpedit. msc" without quote
The above will take you into a page called "group policy" where you will find different things that you can setup in windows.

The Recycle Bin and many other changes to the windows can be found in the administrative templates
Click on the Administrative template then Windows and look to the right of the screen where you will see:  
Make changes as you wish to see in your Desktop Here and save it
