Google to acquire WhatsApp for probably $1 billion

The fast becoming popular chat app WhatsApp is learned to be acquired by Google. One report claims the search giant is going to take over the app for about $1 billion.

Digital Trends reported the two giants are in talks for last four or five weeks. The blog cited person having knowledge of the negotiations.
