Is Microsoft's Surface Pro a tablet? No, it's PC. In fact both

For years Microsoft has encashed on Windows and Office. But now, the software giant has come up to give something more to its loyal customers after occasional failed ventures into hardware like Zune, Spot Watch and Kin Phone.

Since the Xbox, the new Surface Pro tablet from the house of Microsoft will have more going. It will hit the stores this Saturday in 64GB and 128GB models for a price tag of $900 and $1000 respectively.

The best thing about this tablet is that it can also be used as a full-blown Windows PC, which is not possible with other tablets, name it as Apple's iPad, Amazon's Kindle Fire or Google's Nexus.

Surface Pro is powered by Intel chip that is usually found in high-end laptops and it is also equipped with two fans for cooling effect. Moreover, it can easily run any Windows programs such as Excel, Power Point, Word, Photoshop, iTunes and Quicken.

It is beautiful and made up of matte-black metal. The screen is bright with 1080p high-definition resolution. It features 3.0 USB jack and connecting anything is possible that is okay with a PC like flash drives, external drives, mouse, keyboard, speakers, cameras etc.
