The approval of Microsoft comes when Windows 8 and Windows RT tablets are not doing well in the market. Customers are having no good interest in the products.
Earlier the software giant forced its OEMs to produce Windows 8-based tablets with minimum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It said the snap feature of Metro Apps won't work with resolution below 1366 pixels width.
Now, finally we may get Windows 8-based tablets with low resolution like that of 1024 x 768 pixels.
More to all these, the smaller tablets are more in demand. This is the reason Google Nexus 7 as well as Kindle Fire HD are smaller tablets. Also, don't forget Apple too launched iPad Mini to tab the 7 and 8 incher tablet market.
