The Security Ledger said the hackers managed to get into the computer networks of these companies by three third-party watering hole Web sites.
According to chief of security of Facebook, Joe Sullivan, briefing to The Security Ledger, the types entities targeted by the hacker group does not seems to be targeted attack on any single industry sector or tech sector.
As of now it is revealed around forty companies have been suffering of this cyberattack in last several months and it is assumed some of the hacks originated in Eastern Europe and others in China.

However, it is still not known whether the same group of hackers attacked all the companies or they were just isolated incidents.
The attacked companies believe vulnerability in a Java plug-in was the main source of hacking and it came from software developers site iPhonedevsdk.
