The phone
It has metal edges and looks a good piece. It is a bit longer and also wider than Apple's iPhone 5. It has good form factor similar to that of Asus Transformer and is light weight too. It smoothly slides into the back of the tablet. The tablet is faster and one can smoothly zip through the apps screens, the menus, the widgets etc.
The PadFone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system and is powered by 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and Adreno 320 GPU. It sports Super IPS 5-inch screen and provides a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is equipped with 13-megapixel camera and a LED flash.
The Pad
The PadFone Station is shell for the phone and practically has no functionality if both are not connected. It sports 10.1-inch display providing a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and is equipped with 1-megapixel front camera.
Asus PadFone will hit stores in U.K. by April. There has been no word from Asus about its U.S. release.
