In its pre-order page AT&T announced of taking pre-orders of Samsung Galaxy S4 from April 16th. The carrier will be retailing the device for $249 under a two-year contract.
It is suggested to sign up for email alerts from the official website of AT&T as there has been no mention of time when the pre-orders will start on April 16.
The announcement from AT&T comes after a day when pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone started in UK and it is learned the device will hit the market there in late April.
Earlier, T-Mobile announced to carry the device on its network from May 1st. This information too points May 1st as the release date of Samsung Galaxy S4 in the U.S. market.
It is also learned the device will also be coming to Verizon Wireless, Cincinnati Bell and Sprint carriers in the U.S.
Remember, AT&T is carrying Apple iPhone 5 for $199 under two-year contract, price that is less than Galaxy S4.
