Apple to launch iPad Mini 2 in April, iPhone 5S in August: Rumor

Samsung has already announced of unveiling its next generation smartphone and probably it will be Galaxy S4 on March 14. So, why Apple will go without offering anything new to its loyal customers.

According to iMore tech blog, the iDevice giant has in store the next generation of iPad in April, one month after the event of Samsung.


The post on iMore further adds that Apple is prepping the iPhone 5S for a summer release, probably in the month of August. The smartphone will carry the same design as iPhone 5 but with a beefier processor along with enhanced camera.

Earlier, there were other sources reporting late summer launch date for iPhone 5S. KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo says it may be June so that the product may hit the stores in July.

About the iPad it is learned the launching will be probably of iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2.

iPad 4 was released in October last year and iPad 3 in March the same year.

iPad Mini 2 is said to be equipped with Retina Display but Apple may not release it soon as the current version of it has healthy sales.
