With the new discounts, thought limited for one week only, it is surely the products hard to beat. Barnes & Noble is offering great discounts on Nook HD as well as on Nook HD+ tablets. The sale will end on May 12 i.e. on Mother's Day.
The 7-inch Nook HD now starts from $149 for 8GB model which is usually sold for $199 and the 9-inch Nook HD+ is made available starting at $179 for 16GB model. It is usually sold at $269. Both the Nooks facilitate expandable memory with the help of microSD cards.
The discounted price on both the tablets are only available online at Barnes & Noble bookstores and on nook.com. Apart from these two online sources, the two tablets are also available at retailers Best Buy and Target at the one week deal price.
Well, let us wait on watch whether Amazon corresponds to this discounts on its own Kindle Fire tablets. Do remember, few months ago the price of larger Kindle Fire HD 8.9 was chopped off to $269 from $299, which now matches with the price of Nook HD+.
