LA, D.C. NY, Texas and more gets Sprint's 4G LTE high-speed network

A very good news coming for all the Sprint network users in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Texas and about dozens more new market in the U.S.

Sprint has expanded its high-speed 4G LTE network and it has now reached 21 new markets.


So far Sprint had been behind the rivals AT&T and Verizon Wireless in terms of 4G LTE service. Earlier it made a bet with WiMax network, which was though high-speed but it had to shut it up replacing with LTE as the other networks moved this direction.

With the expansion of 4G LTE to 21 new markets the carrier has also undergone LTE roaming agreement with Mississippi based carrier CSpire.

Below is the full list of 21 new markets now provided with 4G LTE high-speed connectivity by Sprint:

Albemarle, N.C.; Bloomington, Ind.; Charlotte, N.C.; Contra Costa County, Calif.; Denison, Texas; Greeneville, Tenn.; Joplin, Mo.; Kerrville, Texas; Lafayette, Ind.; Lincolnton, N.C.; Los Angeles; Mankato/North Mankato, Minn.; Memphis, Tenn.; Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Newport News, Va.; Palm Bay, Fla.; Port St. Lucie, Fla.; Rochelle, Ill.; Salisbury, N.C.; Shelby, N.C.; Tullahoma, Tenn.; West Palm Beach, Fla.
